Due to the overwhelming incidence of diabetes, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a year-long structured program specifically to prevent type 2 diabetes. The National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) is designed for people who have prediabetes or are at risk for type 2 diabetes. In partnership with them, our goal is for its participants to lose 5 to 7% of their body weight and become more active to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes at our HLC location.
